NCST News On May 6th, 2024 the Newnan Police Department responded to a E911 call for service. When they arrived they were informed by a 17 yr old female that a male, Thomas Elder, had sent nude videos and photos to her inside a group chat that they were in with other unidentified individuals.
She also told officers that Elder had been physical with her several weeks earlier and had become angry since then had begun sending the obscene material and was now driving by her residence repeatedly.
According to the incident report, the victim provided her phone to the officer who verified the material had been sent.
After an investigation by the Newnan Police Department, Elder was arrested on two counts on July 22nd, 2024.
The Suspect
The suspect, Thomas Pittman Elder SR, 43, of Senoia was arrested on July 22nd, 2024, and booked into the Coweta County Jail on the following charges.
- Electronic Transmissions of Nudity (F)
- Electronically Furnishing Obscene Material to Minors (M)
Elder appeared before a Magistrate Judge and received a bond of an unknown amount.
Records show that Elder has since been released from the Coweta County Jail on bond.
