Editors Note: Sadly, I’ve had social interactions with all three of the victims in this incident and have several mutual friends with them.

The senseless and tragic murder of three people in the early morning hours of Saturday, June 29th, 2024 at a residence off Crabapple Ct has sent a shockwave through the community as friends and family of the victims try to wrap their minds around their loss.

With the investigation still in its early stages, officials with the Coweta County Sheriff’s Department have yet to release any information regarding the identities of the victims, or the suspect in the incident who took his own life.

Absent also is any information regarding a possible motive for the murders, or what the circumstances were that lead to the victims and suspect being at the location.

Friends and family of the victims have taken to social media in the past few days to recount cherished memories, prayers, and eternal love for the victims.

Tina Elaine Sasser

On Saturday Brittany Carter spoke with media outlets regarding the loss of her mother, Tina Elaine Sasser, 56, in the Crabapple Ct incident.

Carter described her mother in an interview with 11Alive as a loving mother and grandmother who had a big family and loved spending time with her numerous grandchildren any chance that she could.

According to reports, Sasser did live in the area, however, she had no known connection to the residence on Crabapple Ct.

Parker Bethel Anderson

Joshua David Wimmer

Parker Bethel Anderson, 31 and Joshua David Wimmer, 32, have been identified by friends and family as the remaining victims of the incident on Crabapple Ct.

No official statement have been released by the families, nor have they done any interviews with media sources. 

From sources we’ve been able to speak with, the two young men were close friends who often spent time together. We’ve also been told that Anderson was a member of the U.S. Navy, though we’ve been unable to confirm if he was still an active member at the time of his passing.

More Information

While there are many questions that remain surrounding this incident, what isn’t in question is the love and respect that many in the community had for these victims.

We will continue to gather information regarding the victims, their funeral arrangements, and any ways of helping those they’ve left behind.
