NCST Editor Coweta County Sheriff’s Office Human Trafficking Operation
On November 13th, 2024, the Coweta County Sheriff’s Office Crime Suppression Unit, aided by Homeland Security Investigations (HSI), conducted an operation aimed at combating Human Trafficking in the area.
The operation, which was executed at an unnamed local hotel, resulted in 13 arrests on charges that span from pandering and pimping to prostitution and drug charges. One victim of Human Trafficking was located during the operation according to authorities and was placed in a safe home to receive further assistance.

Raymond Oscar Armstrong, 52, of Fayetteville, GA, was arrested during the Operation.
Armstrong was booked on the following charges resulting from his arrest during the Operation

- Parole Violation (F)
Armstrong was found with a decent amount of drugs and was charged with intent to distribute ( or sale, ) and his vehicle was impounded.
According to booking documents, Armstrong was booked on the Parole Violation by the Georgia Parole Board.

According to the GA Department of Corrections website, Armstrong was released from a Georgia Prison on Jan 26th, 2024, and placed on Parole until his original release date of Jan 15th, 2025.

Records indicate that Armstrong had been incarcerated from March 8th, 2022, until his release on January 26th, 2024, after being sentenced on a host of charges including Burglary.
Armstrong has a lengthy incarceration history, according to records with the GA Department of Corrections, having done six separate stints in state prisons from 2006 through 2024, all of which seem to stem from charges in Houston County which is located just south of Macon and is the home to Perry, GA.
