Employees Call 911 After Customer Makes Threats
Just before 9 PM on Saturday, November 18th, 2024, employees at the Applebee’s Bar and Grill in Newnan called 911 and reported there was a customer who was threatening to ” blow the place down. “
Multiple Newnan Police Department units were dispatched to the location while the caller remained on the line with 911. Dispatch conveyed to units that the suspects, two black females in a silver sedan, were now in the parking lot and that one of the females, described as the female with dreads, was making the one making the threats.
Units arrived on the scene within minutes. However, the suspects and the vehicle had already left the scene. Witnesses were able to provide the vehicle’s tag number to officers. Officers were able to locate the vehicle and the suspects. After an investigation into the incident, the units arrested one suspect and criminally trespassed her from the location.
It’s unknown at this time what caused the dispute, leading to the threats being made.
Suspect Arrested
Stacey Deloris Truitt, 42, of LaGrange
NPD units identified the following suspect as part of their investigation as the one who made the threats against the establishment and employees. Stacey Deloris Truitt, 42, or LaGrange.
Truitt was transported to the Coweta County Jail where she was booked on the following charges.
Truitt was able to bond out of the Coweta County Jail.
Truitt shows no previous criminal history in Coweta or Troup Counties.
