Booking reports show that a student was arrested just after Noon at Northgate High School on Wednesday, November 21st. The charges indicate the arrest was the result of a fight on school grounds.
We’ve reached out to the Coweta County School System for comment regarding the incident and will update this article if and when we receive a response.
Student Arrested
Lauryn Gabriella Youmans, 17, of Newnan
Youmans was arrested at the school and transported to the Coweta County Jail where she was booked on the following charges.
Affray ( Fighting ) (M)
Schools – Disruption of Public Schools (M)
The combined bond for the charges was $1750, which she was able to post and has since been released from the Coweta County Jail.
